PG – 12/10/95

In this 1995 article, the Post-Gazette’s Tim Meenes spent a night in SCI Pittsburgh, where he encountered Clarence Miller, whose nickname was “Boomer.”

Meenes notes the conversation in the 9 PM Lockdown section on the 4th section below.  When he asked Boomer what he was in for, the reply was, “I killed a man.” When he asked why, Boomer answered, “For asking too many questions.”  Also, look at the character in the group cartoon Meenes drew who says “I love it here.”  Certainly looks like Miller.
